世界最複雜的懷錶之一 / L.Leroy 01

昨晚提到了這個法國品牌L.Leroy & Co.,很多新手玩家自然是不會知道的,當然,這是從過去以來都是屬於高端的牌子,它們也推出過不少的優良作品,其中最具國際收藏家之間閒聊的話題,莫過於它們製做過最複雜的懷錶 L.Leroy 01,為人津津樂道,好吧,我大約將故事與每位朋友一起分享....

很多人都不知道,在Patek Philippe 於1989年發表了最複雜的懷錶"Calibre 89"之前,到底最複雜的懷錶作品是誰製做的,當然不是AP,也非VC這些高端的品牌,這枚高達975個零件的懷錶,最初是由來自於瑞士的巴拉蘇 Le Brassus (Vallée de Joux),著名的製錶大師 Charles Piguet ,為此設計出基本的機芯底版(ébauche),並開始了它美麗的故事...

其實,來自於法國傳統製錶重鎮"貝桑松 Le Besançon"當地的品牌L.Leroy & Co., 這款代號為L.Leroy 01的懷錶,早於1867年該公司為了世界博覽會前就開始動工,同年亦申請了懷錶結構上的9項專利;來自於俄羅斯莫斯科的收藏家Nicolas Nostitz,對於此錶款的獨特性有著深度的印象,並要求在法國巴黎的工作坊將其功能增加至11項,於1878年的世界博覽會展示.

1896年收藏家過世後,此錶由葡萄牙著名收藏家 安東尼奧·奧古斯托·德卡瓦略·蒙泰羅博士( Dr. Antonio Augusto de Carvalho Monteiro)買下,這是一位對於收藏品有著嚴苛要求的人,他始終認為,這個作品應該可以做的更好,更多,更深入,在同年將此懷錶再度交回錶廠請Louis Leroy 為此錶再次的改裝設計,安東尼 博士對於此懷錶的要求為"將目前可以實現所有的科學與力學,匯集功能於一體的便於攜式懷錶";看來這對於當時的錶廠製錶師Louis Leroy 來說,無不是一種極大的壓力.,1900年Louis Leroy 將未完成的作品,提交給由巴黎世界展覽會(Grand Prix at the Paris Universal Exhibition)審查,被認定為當時最複雜的機械懷錶美名.

時間歷經了七年後,在1904年那年完成了這一個偉大的作品 L.Leroy 01;同年葡萄牙國王來到法國巴黎視察,同樣也是來自於葡萄牙的安東尼 博士,在國王獲知有這樣的鐘錶作品,被召喚回皇宮,並在最後將此懷錶貢獻給當時的葡萄牙國王收藏.,這樣偉大有故事的作品,我們都還是有機會可以見到它的,經時光輾轉遺流,目前現在由法國貝桑松時間博物館(Musees-Franchecomte)珍藏,有機會去法國的朋友,不妨去走走看看它.
